WALT: Understand what is needed for Persuasive Writing
Hello and welcome to my peace of writing, this piece of writing is about the first day back at school. The assembly we had was to welcome the kids back was amazing and here are a few reasons why.
The first entertaining thing that we did in the assembly being surprised by our principles to see them in front of the stage. They were cooking fish and while they were cooking the fish we got to watch some movies that our teachers made for us about the korero for this year and that part was a little bit relaxing.
The second amazing thing they did was making fish for us. They cut little pieces and serve them on a tray or a plate and send it out to good people who were sitting up nicely. The fish that I liked was the shrimp and the smoked fish and man that was nice.
The last and final enjoyable thing about the assembly, that this type of assembly was different. Other assemblies aren't much fun so it's good to have a change in our assemblies. Also this assembly was actually entertaining and it was also very calm and nice because normally it’s very loud and there are also bad notices after the fun notices. So having no notices at all was really great.
Overall the assembly was very amusing and entertaining and I think that our principals did a good job of cooking the fish and entertaining us and also a big thank you to them.
